Houston's Tree Service Expert

Eric Putnam, BCMA - Houston's Trusted Arborist

Houston is home to plenty of mature trees, from live oaks and pecans shading backyards to tall pines growing close to homes. Keeping those trees healthy sometimes takes pruning, sometimes treatment, and sometimes knowing when a tree needs to come down. Eric Putnam BCMA Inc. provides tree removal, trimming and pruning, post-storm tree care, tree health care, and arborist consultations throughout Houston. Our team is led by Eric Putnam, an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist.

If you’ve noticed thinning leaves, dying branches, or a change in how your tree looks, we start by finding out why. Drainage problems, construction around the roots, and long periods of wet or dry weather can affect a tree well before the damage becomes obvious. We look at the tree and its growing conditions before recommending treatment. When pruning is needed, each cut has a purpose, whether that’s removing deadwood, clearing branches away from the roof, or improving a young tree’s structure. When removal is necessary, we plan the work around nearby houses, fences, pools, and other trees, and explain what’s included before scheduling the job.

After a storm, a damaged tree isn’t always a lost cause. Our post-storm tree care starts with assessing the damage and determining whether the tree can reasonably be preserved or needs to be removed. If you’re concerned about a tree’s health or condition, book a paid arborist consultation for an evaluation and recommendations.
