Galveston's Tree Service Expert

Eric Putnam, BCMA - Galveston's Trusted Arborist

Whether you have a tree that needs to come down or one you’d like to keep healthy for years to come, it helps to understand its condition before scheduling work. Eric Putnam BCMA Inc. provides tree removal, trimming and pruning, post-storm tree care, tree health care, and arborist consultations in Galveston. Our team is led by Eric Putnam, an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist. We look at what’s happening with your trees, explain what we find, and recommend the work they need.

Tree removal can get complicated when a tree stands close to the house, reaches over a fence, or has little room around it. Before the job, we assess its size, condition, and access so we can plan the removal around your property. A dead tree or one with extensive decay may need to come down, while other concerns can be addressed through pruning or treatment. We explain those options and, when removal makes sense, outline the work and what’s included before it’s scheduled.

For trees that remain, pruning helps address dead branches, clearance over roofs and walkways, and structural problems. Trees showing signs of decline may need a closer look at their roots, soil, or possible pest activity before treatment is recommended. We also provide post-storm tree care in Galveston, assessing broken limbs and other damage to determine what can be preserved and what needs to be removed.
