Clear Lake's Tree Service Expert

Eric Putnam, BCMA - Clear Lake's Trusted Arborist

The trees around your home change over time, and their care should reflect that. A young tree may need pruning to develop good structure, while an established tree may need attention to dead branches or changes in its health. Eric Putnam BCMA Inc. provides tree trimming and pruning, tree health care, arborist consultations, tree removal, and post-storm tree care in Clear Lake. Our team is led by Eric Putnam, an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist.

If a tree has started looking sparse or losing branches, the visible symptoms may only tell part of the story. We examine the tree and its growing conditions to look for issues with roots, soil, drainage, or pests before recommending treatment. We also help property owners understand how construction or changes around a tree could affect its health. When pruning is appropriate, we focus on specific needs, such as removing deadwood, clearing the roof, or addressing poorly attached branches, rather than simply making the tree smaller.

Sometimes removal is the right decision, particularly when a tree has died or has damage that cannot reasonably be managed. We explain the findings and plan the work around nearby buildings, fences, and landscaping. After a storm, we can assess damaged trees and determine whether they need pruning, additional care, or removal.
