Alvin's Tree Service Expert

Eric Putnam, BCMA - Alvin's Trusted Arborist

Tree work should start with a clear explanation of what needs to be done and why. At Eric Putnam BCMA Inc., we help Alvin homeowners and businesses handle everything from overgrown branches to declining trees and storm damage. Our services include tree removal, trimming and pruning, post-storm tree care, tree health care, and arborist consultations. Our team is led by Eric Putnam, an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist.

If you’re considering tree removal, we look at more than the tree itself. Its condition, the direction branches extend, and the available access all affect how the job should be handled. A tree beside a garage requires different planning than one in an open yard, especially when decay or broken limbs complicate the work. We explain the scope of the removal and account for nearby fences, buildings, and trees you want to keep. If the concern can reasonably be addressed without removal, we’ll discuss that option with you too.

Regular pruning can keep branches clear of your home, remove deadwood, and address weak structure before limbs grow larger. When a tree looks unhealthy, an arborist consultation can help determine whether soil conditions, root problems, or pests are contributing to its decline. We also evaluate trees after storms to assess the damage and recommend appropriate care or removal.
